Singin In the Rain

Hi everybody! Hows it going? I thought I would give you guys an update as to what I have been doing lately.

My week consist of school, church, work, and myspace. lol It's pretty sad. But I find that I stay pretty busy. I am really starting to experience a bad case of senioritis. To be specific, in my government class. My teacher is so dull that she absolutely puts me to sleep and well I honestly cant wait for the semester to be over just to get out of her class! I can not wait till next semester though! I have the most easy classes ever and I am looking forward to having a laid back schedule for once! haha Anyways...being a senior is stressful. You have to decide what you want to do, apply to schools, and take stupid ACT test! But I am doing pretty good in this process so it will all be fine! =)

So one random thing that I think I will share with you is that I have been trying to write some songs lately. I've always attempted to write songs but lately I have had quite a bit of inspiration and their just kind of writing themselves. I really enjoy it. I know it sounds so corny but I would love to do exactly what Taylor Swift is doing. Write all your own songs and then share them with the world. I just think that would be the most amazing experience. I guess I am just a big dreamer! haha

Anyways..I wanna give a quick shout out to Pastor Rick and his family and wish them the best of luck at Living Free Fellowship in Portland! We love and miss you!

Well talk to you guys later!

To A Whole New America.

Hello fellow readers =)
As you all are fully aware, we have a new president elect. Mr. Barack Obama. Though I am definitely not happy with Americas choice, I have done my part to prevent it and I dont feel like it was in vain. Maybe God will use him in a great way, who knows? God has a funny way of doing things. I know this much, I certainly dont understand this one. Part of me is really angry at the whole situation, but the other part knows that though we may not support what he does, he will be our new leader and we have to pray for him. The Bible says we have too. Though its not easy, our next president is going to have a lot to deal with and it is going to take nothing but prayer to get us through it. It does sadden me, however, at how liberal America has become. Forget who is running for the democratic party and just think what democrats in general represent. Gay Marriage, Abortion, whats next? Its really more than I can comprehend. I dont mean to get on my soap box, but it is a subject that I have really become passionate about. I have learned to stand up for what I believe in and back it up. Its a nice feeling to fight for something you know is right, even if you do lose. Either way, this presidential election is historic. We have a first African American President and had a female vice presidential canidate running. Its pretty cool!

Anyways, I hope you get my point. PRAYER IS THE ONLY ANSWER FOR THIS TO WORK! ( and in case you didnt its right there! haha) But in 4 years in the next election, can we please be a little more conservative! Thanks.

Peace!

A Glimpse Of My World...

Hello people! =) Im very sorry I havent written in a while. I just have gotten busy and not really given it much thought! Anywho...lately my life has consisted of school, sleep, work, sleep, school, church. Not always in that order but just about. I stay sooo tired all the time! I dont know why! Im really enjoying school though. I love senior year. Why is it that you finally like school when its almost over? Its really not fair. Im done with my economics class and im going to Mrs. Turners Legal Business Government. I really liked economics though so im kinda sad. English is going well. I have a great group of classmates. Were about to start working on our Shakespeare videos. Im Juliet, but we have yet to find a Romeo! Band is band but I love it more than ever. Mr. Phillips is the coolest band director ever. Im going to miss him. Then senior project with Pastor Rick at the church. We do a lot of the same things everyday but I really like it.

So what do you all think of this election stuff? I really wish I could vote. John McCain and Sarah Palin alllll the way!!! I just have to wonder what floats through someones head who pulls the lever for the democrats. Do you kill babies and support gay marriages? Do you want all your money to go to people who cant get off their butts and work? Do you want our country to absolutely go down the toliet? Thats what you would get with Barack Obama. I dont mean to sound rude or be on a soapbox but seriously people, give it some thought!!! And to those of you who say you dont want to vote at all; if you dont vote, you cant complain about it. (unless your a minor and cant!)I know this might be random, but its the only thing on the tv at my house!

Anyways, every christian needs to pray. Its going to take a miracle for McCain. I know that God can do it though!!!

Well its late. Ive driven home from Alabama, went to work, went to the game, and went to the 5th quarter and im pretty worn out. The fifth quarter was a ton of fun! If you missed it then you missed a lot! Frakie and Chris are masters of karyoke. (they belted Hannah Montana!)

Peace! =)

Fall is on its way!

So life is pretty good lately. I mean it could always be better, but im not complaining. School is going well. Though I am struggling somewhat in English, its only because I didnt read a book over the summer. Economics is farely easy, its all new but kind of interesting and will be useful one day. Everything else is a breeze. Even though I do kind of like school, I miss the summer really bad. I miss Ecuador and I miss camp and I miss nationals. I just wasnt ready for it to be over with. I went in Casa Veija yesterday to eat, and with it being a mexican restaurant they had mexican music playing and such. It made me so sad! It made me miss Ecuador and what a great time we had there. I really hope that we can take another missions trip back there or to some other foreign country because it definitely was an experience!

Well ill write again soon!

Roll Tide Roll

Well, today im headin off to Alabama for the weekend. Im decently excited. It got me out of work, even though my manager wasn't happy. I get to see my cousins and just get away for a couple of days.

This week has been pretty good. I feel like I have stayed really busy, which I have. Monday I guess was my laid back day. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday ive had stuff to do every day after school and it just wears on you after a while.

Im very excited about Monday though. We're playing lazer quest and even though by no means am I the best player, I think its super fun!
